Co-Founder of Women&Co and Coach (CIPD, PCC)

‘Passionate about personal growth and raising performance in fast moving commercial environments through the growth and empowerment of individuals to reach their potential.’

I came from a background in performance sport before stepping into theworld of people management. My world was dominated by leaders who set the agenda for organisations often with unseen consequences that sidelined women in the world of work. Getting to senior leadership was a battle and often required non-disclosure of children, the difficulty of juggling home and work life and how unfair discrimination held women back. I determined then to think about how I could support young females in the organisation to navigate around some of the things I had experienced. Specifically being purposeful in my career, managing perceptions and becoming more savvy both commercially and politically. I am delighted to bring my deep expertise as a consultant and coach across blue chip organisations, business schools and high growth ventures to Women&Co.

‘A curious and empathic integrator co-creating meaningful change in a disrupted and digital world’

Looking back to the generations of independent, working women in my family, and their strong partnerships with supportive men, it’s no surprise that I was raised to believe in gender parity. With a career spanning close on 30 years in people, leadership, change and culture, I have often been the only woman in a senior team. I understand the biases and barriers women face in their careers; and the types of workplaces and leaders who enable women to bring their best. With academic research and publications in ‘the meaning of work to women’, this is a topic close to my heart. As a working mother, I understand the exhaustion and the juggle it takes. I also know that my teenage daughters deserve the kind of workplaces (and world) that Women & Co aspires to build. I am passionate about bringing my contribution as an organisational and business psychologist to Women&Co.

A creator of safety, where we explore, transition and transform people to be great self-leaders and leaders of others harnessing on unique talents and capabilities’

As the first woman in my family to receive an education and corporate career, I feel incredibly privileged to use my knowledge and skills to impact other women. Early in my career, I quickly learned to fit into the system, often losing my feminine identity. Balancing the corporate ladder with raising a family tested me mentally and physically, and my drive for perfection pushed me to constantly dodge burnout. With 25 years of experience in accounting and operations, including senior and executive roles, I became intentional about developing future leaders by further earning an MSc in coaching and behavioural change. Since 2016, I have worked with international consultancies and higher education institutions, delivering future-fit leadership programs and coaching senior leaders using methodologies like emotional intelligence, neuroscience, and systems thinking. As part of the Women &Co team, I love creating reflective spaces for women to explore and reshape their personal and professional narratives.

Coach (B Social Work, MDip, ACC path)

‘A collaborator with a win-win mindset who relishes every opportunity to provide support to people and see them flourish by putting heart back into work.’

I started my career as a social worker, with a strong drive for justice in apartheid South Africa, and over the last thirty years have built a career as an executive and team coach. Working with women across sectors, a driving force for me lies in my belief that leaders and their teams in  organisations have every opportunity to create value through working collaboratively and constructively through connection and dialoguing. I help my clients to explore at depth how they can bring the best of who they are to every leadership relationship through the process of self-insight and awareness of others. I am the mother of two young women, who are stepping into global careers and so gender parity is close to my heart. I bring my deep expertise into human behaviour, emotional agility and change through deep dialogue to the Women&Co team. (Alongside a healthy dose of rebelliousness!)

Coach (B Comm, MA, PCC)

‘A strategic leadership partner, who is a curious fellow human companion in service of the client and their whole system.’

Having cut my teeth initially in the then predominantly male dominated financial sector for many years in leadership roles, I was impassioned to explore the world of shifting and shaping corporate norms and diversity. Studying and interrogating the pivotal roles that each individual plays in sizable blue chip company structures, and how these positively converge, I have built a career that’s driven by absolute passion and fuelled by the personal and professional growth of the leaders I work with.

How minds stretch when implementing constructive change has also contributed immensely to my personal growth as an executive coach. I’m blessed to work with phenomenal women leaders daily and to unpack and understand the dynamics at play in their leadership roles to achieve meaningful impact. Everyday presents the opportunity for new lessons and the excitement of working in an environment where no two days are the same keeps me driven to always want to put my best foot forward for the leaders we serve at Women&Co.
